In the beautiful Cathedral in Brixen/Bressanone, during a thunderestorm, we sang our Spanish Gold program for an attentive and enthusiastic audience which had braved the weather. We had sung it before in the Bay Area, but not in such a grand acoustical setting. We're told it sounded very beautiful, especially with the 3-4 second reverb. The evening ended with festivity with our local friends. Alan reunited with Clara - the Italian woman he met last time who resembles his mother to an amazing degree, and is a world class yodeller. Alan was thinking perhaps he could learn, but Clara says that yodelling is something you actually can't learn. You have it or you don't.
The Alto Adige is a beautiful region. Mountains were climbed and views were seen today - all before the rain arrived. Tomorrow a short bus ride to Schloss Elmau which promises to be incredible.
