The LAB choir has quite a following in Pleasanton, tonight making their third appearance at St. Augustine's, organzed by our Board member Elaine Snyder. They sang their mission music concert which includes 3 continuo instruments played by LAB singers and tonight had piano continuo as well, volunteered by Robert Lee. LAB has had a big success with this programeverywhere they've done it - which is a lot of territory. They are going to go all the way to Carmel on Friday to sing for audiences on their way in to our Mission Road concert. We sang Friday night at an evening benefitting the Community Music Center and honoring the late Robert Commandy, renowned music critic for many decades for the San Francisco Chronicle. We were honored to be asked to headline this event by the Community Music Center, a very worthy organization long supported by many prominent San Franciscans. Tomorrow we're in Southern California for our annual concert at La Jolla's St. James by the Sea - an enchanting location.
