People come to Chanticleer in Sonoma because they love singing.  They love us, but first and foremost they want to spend 4 days doing nothing but singing, and talking about singing. For many - especially for example high school choir directors- it's a purely enjoyable escape just for them.  The days are long and full, and capped by socializing and entertainment.  First thing today, Eric gave a German class.  The tutti rehearsal followed.  After lunch the small ensembles met with their Chanticleer coaches.   Brian and Marques gave a session on African American music.  Then we had an open rehearsal followed by q and a., and then it was dinner time.
