On our arrival day into Knoxville, 9 of us raced from the airport to attend the Swingle Singers concert at the University of Tennessee where the presenter is a friend of Brian Hinman.  This phenomenal a cappella group is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary and we were so happy to sit in the audience and listen to great music.  After the concert we were invited to a dinner where we had some amazing southern food, and the chance to bond with the members of the group.   Kory Reid, our resident barbershopper taught a tag and some of us engaged in a little sight reading from the Mac screen.

The Swingle Singers host an a cappella festival in London in January which they said they'd like to invite us to.  This year we're in Budapest and Prague at that time, but maybe someday!!
