We're hard at work on our next program She Said/He Said which will be going many miles, from Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina to St. Petersburg, Russia, Portland, Oregon to Dublin, Ireland and many other points in between.  In French - the hardest of the 7 languages represented in the program - we are doing the lovely Shaw/Parker arrangement of L'amour de Moy, and Three very wordy songs ( Trois Chansons) of Ravel.   Preparing these gave us the opportunity to get acquainted with Valerie Saint-Agathe, the new Music Director of the San Francisco Girls Chorus and therefore our neighbor in the building.  She's French..from Montpellier.  We spent a few hours with her on those pieces today.  Tomorrow we'll switch to Russian to work with Elena Sharkova on a (naughty) folk song we will sing all over the place including Russia, then back to French on Monday.

Season open's on September 20.  First we're going to celebrate our new CD "Someone New" on September 16 at SFJazz.
