Sunday's LAB Choir 2 rehearsal was the last before their debut this Friday night at our Youth Choral Festival.  They will be one of six choirs coming on Friday.  They will sing three numbers of their own and be part of the combined choirs in Barber's "Sure on this shining night" and Sydney Guillaume's "Kalinda."  The day before that, we've invited them to crash our afternoon rehearsal; we look forward to seeing them then and on Friday along with the St. Francis High School Chamber Singers, the Davis High School Madrigal Singers, Jesuiit High School Honors Choir, and Acalanes and Gilroy High Schools' Chamber Singers.

LAB Choir 2 designed its own t-shirt for concert wear, modeled here by Ben.  The icons say  Sleep, Eat, Breathe Music, and the slogan is:  "What we do is not for the faint of heart."

We've been preparing for Friday's Youth Choral Festival too - rehearsing  Guillaume's "Kalinda"  which is new to us, along with more and more Christmas rep.

It's good to be home for a bit.  This time next week we'll be in Sun City, Arizona.  We're also taking advantage of at-home time to make some video which we'll be showing you soon!!!   Our Label Manager Lisa Nauful is doing some video portraits, and we've also been working on  music video versions of the new singles we made this summer, and which are now up on our digital storefront. Exciting stuff!!
