CHANTICLEER SINGS "ONE WORLD"
FEBRUARY PROGRAM CELEBRATES EXPRESSIVE SONG ACROSS TIME AND PLACE

San Francisco, January 12, 2004--Chanticleer, the internationally-acclaimed, 12-man vocal ensemble, will perform "One World," a concert of vocal music that crosses boundaries of time, space and theme, next month in five concerts in San Francisco, Petaluma, Santa Clara, and Sacramento.

"One World" is a journey to the heart of song at the center of human experience, encompassing early music, madrigals, modern masterpieces and world folk songs. "I conceived the program as a kind of time-travelogue through music, demonstrating our common experiences of love, life and death," noted Chanticleer Music Director Joseph Jennings. Chanticleer is performing the program while on tour around the country this season.

"One World" will be performed on February 21 at 8pm and February 29 at 7pm at Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco; on Feburary 22 at 3pm at St. Vincent Church, Petaluma; on February 27 at 8pm at Mission Santa Clara; and on February 28 at 8pm in Sacramento's First United Methodist Church.
