Below is a sample Patron Tour itinerary, for the 2007 Verbier Festival trip.

Friday 20- July– arrival at Geneva

Independent arrival of guests in Geneva.

Night at the Beau Rivage (optional).  Dinner on your own.

Saturday 21 July – Geneva / Verbier

Breakfast on your own.

A 13h30 (1.30pm) meet at the Hotel Beau Rivage for the transfer by bus to Verbier.  En route, we will stop to visit a legendary  library at a private Chateau.  Towards 17.30 (5.30pm) you will arrive in Verbier and settle in to your respective hotels.

Dinner on your own.

First concert : At 20.00(8pm) at the Eglise de Verbier, the Verbier Festival presents:

Breakfast on your own at the hotel.  Day at leisure. During the day, you have the option of attending  these free events :

Monday 23 July– Verbier

At 8.30am, after breakfast, ascent by funicular to Chable.  From there, an hour and a half walk to Bruson,  a  small and charming  mountain village.  Around noon, a  narrated tasting of the  cheeses and wines of the corbeille d’Entremont. Visit to the cheese factory in the company of  Eddy Baillifard, one of the region’s most well-known cheese-makers and agriculturalists.

In the afternoon,  a guided visit to the village of Bruson, followed by an hour’s walk back to the funicular for the descent to Chable.   Return to Verbier in mid-afternoon.

In the evening, at 21h (9pm) gastronomic meal at the well-known restaurant Le Sonalon, in the company of the Chanticleer ensemble.

Tuesday 24 July– Verbier

Breakfast and lunch on your own.

During the day, you have the option of attending the following free events :

 12h30, T-Bar : Fest’Off, Lunch musical
14h00, Chalet d’Adrien : Academy, Master class in chamber music
14h00 ( 2pm), Eglise, sous-sol : Discovery, Peinture de Bach

10am departure by bus for Geneva.

En route, guided visit of the Fondation Gianadda at Martigny.

Arrival at Geneva at the Hotel Beau Rivage by 14h ( 2pm)

Independent departure from Geneva.
