We always take advantage of even brief stops in fascinating foreign cities.  The Star Ferry, the big Buddha, Kowloon Park, the Peninsula Hotel were some of our varied destinations.  We last appeared in Hong Kong in 2009 at the Tsuen Wan Town Hall where we were again tonight.  A very attentive audience including lots of kids and choral singers.  The Tallis Scholars seemed to have started a sing-along tradition which we were asked to do, inviting everyone to sing along to Moon River as an encore.  They knew it well!  Our appearance in the lobby after the concert provoked a very satisfying squealing, shouting, crowding minor riot.  We posed for pictures with anybody and everybody.   Always a pleasure to come back to Hong Kong.

Our Journey to the Giant Buddha at Ngong Ping 360 in Hong Kong was well worth it despite the hour and 30 min wait.  Apparently the holiday in Mainland China lasts all week, so there were tons of people.
