LAB XIV had its last official activity this year on Sunday, volunteering both to read through Christmas carols and repair 86 copies of Our Heart's Joy which arrived in our office damaged.  Our Heart's Joy remains our best selling Christmas recording, and we're about to need a lot of them, so LAB XIV's selfless Sunday effort is much appreciated.  We hope that their Christmas carol reading will benefit their own seasonal choral activities.  LAB XIV gave some highly appreciated concerts and we hear that there will be one last one on January 30 at 4pm at SF Towers in San Francisco .  About half of the participants were first time LAB members.  We hope that many of them will return in January for LAB XV whose focus will be on music of the missions, aligning with our presentation of that Bolivian and Mexican repertoire in the spring.
