Our traditional Christmas launch in Virginia - concerts in Fairfax and Manassas under the auspices of George Mason - happened this past weekend. As always, a good number of patrons come to pre concert talks by Fred, our premier raconteur. Those familiar audiences lustily approved our new Christmas program which has a number of highlights, including a new Christmas gospel arrangement. It was made for us this year by Rosephanye Powell, inspired by singing in her youth with her 3 sisters in little churches in Alabama. It has, we think, the warm feeling of being in a small worshipful place, far away. We can't wait to introduce it to you. We share with all of.you happy anticipation of where we will be on Christmas Eve and for the holidays. As our Christmas narrative continues, we'll let you know where that will be for each of us, in about 25 concerts from now. We look forward to seeing you along the way.
Adam - here backstage at the Center for the Arts in Fairfax- is on his 12th Christmas tour. His plans for Christmas are still being formulated and are as yet undisclosed. (The rest of us have plane tickets). Stay tuned.
