Off we went in the greyest wettest summer in 20 years in Europe, so they say, AND on the weekend when EVERYBODY leaves for vacation.

The traffic did clear up around Hamburg, and we sailed on to Luxembourg to be close to our next concert in Trier, Germany.  A little ice cream, a little frisbee, and, of course, convivial company, and the time kind of flew.  Kind of.

This was the first of two relative marathon bus days on this trip - the next will be from Italy to France over some mountain or other.  It's much preferable to going in and out of airports.
