A wonderful evening in the new ( opened in September) 1600 seat Helzberg Hall in the Kauffman Center in Kansas City.

Very appreciative audience, including the critic:

The live CD of the concert, "Love Story" was available for this performance.  The audience certainly voted with their feet by storming the CD stand and buying 40 of them.  "Our Favorite Carols" - our new Christmas CD- is also being snapped up everywhere - which tells us Christmas can't be far away.  We devote full-time this week and next to rehearsing for it.

Our usual pre-concert procedures:  setting up the CD stand - always a pleasure when we have the luxury of a beautiful lobby:

and setting the circle for "Village Wedding"

We're back home in San Francisco now, after a concert at the Ellis Family Fine Arts Center in Fort Scott, Kansas.  We're now awaiting the arrival of Dale Warland who is going to join us for a while before we go out for Christmas.
