April is the longest month for us - it goes all the way into May- prime touring time.  We arrived home last night from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, an easier trip that you'd think Regina to Denver, Denver to San Francisco.

In the Denver airport we had a reunion with former Chanticleer alto Jesse Antin who  happened to be there on his way home from a business trip to Minneapolis. He was trying to get on our flight (he was booked on a much later flight to Oakland). He didn't make the flight but we were delayed long enough to give us all 20 min or so to chat.

Now we're home - or at least not on the Chanticleer road -for a few months until we leave for Europe on August 8.  Tonight we will perform "Out of this World" for the last time ( it's been a very successful program for us)  in Livermore, across the Bay Bridge, and return to sleep in our own beds!  Next up are performances of our final Bay Area program "Romantic Chanticleer,"  appearances at Chorus America's national conference happening right here in San Francisco,  then Chanticleer in Sonoma, then vacation, and then Europe.
