A very intent and intense and quiet audience, hardy enough to come out to the relatively brisk climate inside Rotterdam's famous Laurenskirk. We loved singing there - it's a big church, but the stage has been set up with a clear acoustical shell over the stage, and there's a very nice ring in there. In addition to an audience which clearly knows its a cappella music - they have all the great groups here- there was a large group of pre-conservatory music students who had lots of questions afterwards. We have to remark that we've been very lucky so far on this tour with weather. As we head into the final stretch, it's getting weather-y. Cold, wet and windy here, and Cork where we finish the tour on Monday and Tuesday, is currently flooded. Our organizers there signal a you-tube video of somebody swimming down the street where we are scheduled to have lunch on Tuesday...
