Sunday afternoon's Manassas concert went well. This was our fourth time in Merchant Hall (part of the Hylton Center) and each time we are reminded what a lovely place it is to sing. The architecture is very striking from the audience's perspective, and they seemed to enjoy the concert very much. A lot of people commented that they loved Steven Sametz's new setting of "O Magnum Mysterium," which we commissioned this year and performed for the very first time this weekend. Today, it's on to Richmond, VA (a couple hours down the road) to sing two concerts at St. Mary's Catholic Church before flying to Chicago on Tuesday.
