An easy 6 hours on the bus yesterday got us from Hildesheim to Prague through the greyest dullest nothern-Europe-in-the-winter day. We were pleased to see Prague again; most of us having been here two years ago when we performed at the Rudolfinum.

This time we were at the Prague State Opera House, up the street from our very smart little hotel. We had rather forgotten how reserved the Czech audiences are - they warm up very slowly, but they did, and were extremely appreciative by the end of the performance.

The Prague State Opera is a lovely room, and a treat to see.

Concert time in Europe is when our nearest and dearest are waking up in San Francisco. How did people travel without wireless and cell signals everywhere.

Anyway, the people were very warm, and we have the day off tomorrow to see their incredible city.
