...For our Atlantic Crossing with Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and the New Century Chamber orchestra in a long awaited ( at least by us) collaboration.  The program will debut ( as will we, and the orchestra) at Stanford's new Bing Hall on Thursday evening, then cruise on to San Francisco Friday and Saturday, San Rafael on Sunday, and Berkeley on Tuesday.  Judging by today's rehearsal - you'll probably want to be there!  We had met the NCCO's charistmatic  Music Director before Christmas when we posed for some photos.  Today we met her and her orchestra to start putting our tutti numbers in place, starting with a Duke Ellington medley of Lush Life, Take the A train, and It don't Mean a thing. Arrangements by Clarice Assad.
