The world’s reigning male chorus!
— The New Yorker

In 1978 San Francisco was exploding with artistic invention.  Among the groups that were created and achieved international prominence - was Chanticleer. With the help of our loyal fans and supporters, Chanticleer established its place as the finest ensemble of its kind; a place that we maintain to this day. Thank you!

The late choral legend, Robert Shaw, heard the ensemble in 1980 and pronounced the concert, “the most beautiful sound I have ever heard.”

Your interest in our work helped establish Chanticleer as the gold standard of ensemble music; we are grateful and hope that you have the opportunity to personally share with us the beauty of choral music.

As one of the crown jewels in today's music world, Chanticleer appreciates your financial support to keep the music flowing.
