The rooster Chanticleer must outwit the cunning Fox to save his barnyard friends. Inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales and the Caldecott-winning children’s book “Chanticleer and the Fox” illustrated by Barbara Cooney, the rooster’s story will be accompanied by Renaissance madrigals and motets sung by San Francisco’s very own Chanticleer. This concert will be suitable for children of all ages and we encourage families to attend.
We are thrilled to offer free admission for children 12 and under to attend this exciting program! Please note that children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. For seating purposes, we require that all complimentary tickets be reserved online or by calling City Box Office at (415) 392-4400.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the E. Nakamichi Foundation for this program.
