Frederica “Flicka” von Stade has built an extraordinary legacy that reaches far beyond her celebrated opera career. In the documentary Flicka: A Love Letter, audiences follow her journey from one of the world’s most beloved mezzo-sopranos to a devoted mentor, educator, and humanitarian. Following the screening, Chanticleer President & General Director Philip Wilder will lead a conversation with Frederica von Stade and director/producer Brian Staufenbiel in anticipation of her receiving the Kathleen G. Henschel Award on October 1.
